Located on a hill overlooking the valley that leads to the sea of Portopino, is the town of Sant’Anna Arresi. The town is surrounded by small clusters of scattered houses called “ medaus, ” which are typical of Sulcis Iglesiente In the highest part of the town is the church of Sant’Anna: the small old church building that was originally part of the town centre is next to it. Among these constructions there is on display the very interesting and ancient Nuraghe Arresi.
